Huading LW430 Decanter Centrifuge Mango Puree Refining Machine 22kW SS316L Bowl

Mango puree is one of the most demanding fruit streams in a tropical juice plant. Ripe fruit carries a wide spread of particle sizes, a heavy load of insoluble fibre and a delicate aroma that is easily damaged by heat. The Huading LW430 decanter centrifuge is built around this behaviour: a large diameter bowl, a long separation path and a controlled scroll differential let the machine refine puree and cut fibre in a single continuous pass, without the dilution and oxidisation that slow down batch press lines.

Typical installations place the decanter directly after pulping and enzymatic treatment. Pulp enters the bowl at 8 to 15 cubic metres per hour, is accelerated smoothly to full bowl speed and is separated into a smooth refined puree phase and a drier fibre phase. Because residence time is short and shear is moderate, colour, viscosity and vitamin retention stay close to the values measured on the incoming fruit.

Key Features
  • High g-force bowl geometry: a 430 mm bowl running at 3600 rpm generates 3100 G, which is enough to pull fine mango fibre out of a viscous puree without raising the discharge temperature.
  • Dry fibre discharge: the scroll conveys dewatered fibre towards the conical beach at a controlled differential speed, producing a fibre cake that is easy to handle and low in reusable puree.
  • Viscosity tolerant internals: wide inlet zone, deep pond and open bowl channels prevent the bridging that stops conventional decanters when puree viscosity rises after a ripening shift.
  • Food grade contact parts: all product wetted parts are SS316L with a 0.4 micron internal finish, and the bearing frame is isolated so no lubricant can reach the process area.
  • Variable differential speed: a back drive unit lets the operator trim the differential between 1 and 30 rpm, trading a drier fibre cake against higher puree yield from batch to batch.
  • Clean in place ready: integrated CIP nozzles and full drain paths flush the bowl and casing between fruit lots, protecting flavour and colour from carryover.
  • Wear protection and monitoring: tungsten carbide hard facing on the scroll flights and a vibration monitored bearing block keep unplanned downtime low in a 24 hour fruit season.

Working Principle

Pulp is fed through a central feed tube into the accelerating zone of the rotating bowl. Centrifugal force, up to 3100 G, drives the denser fibre particles outwards to the bowl wall while the clarified puree forms an inner concentric layer. The scroll, rotating slightly faster than the bowl, continuously scrapes the deposited fibre along the bowl wall to the conical drying beach and discharges it through nozzles, while the clarified puree overflows the adjustable weir at the cylindrical end. Pond depth, differential speed and feed rate are the three variables used to tune dryness and clarity.

Applications

The LW430 is used for mango puree refining, guava and papaya pulp clarification, banana and tomato pulp processing, and for recovering fine fibre from mixed tropical fruit streams. It also suits coconut milk separation and vegetable pulp dewatering where a smooth, fibre free product is required before homogenisation, pasteurisation or aseptic filling.

Packaging and Quality Assurance

Each decanter is delivered in a seaworthy plywood case with rust preventive film, moisture barrier bag and shock absorbing bracing. The bowl assembly is locked for transport and the control cabinet is packed separately. A documentation set covering general arrangement drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, material certificates and the balancing report travels with the machine. All units are run tested on water before shipment and carry a 12 month warranty on mechanical parts.
