HUADING LW355 pharmaceutical fermentation mycelium recovery decanter centrifuge separator performs this critical clarification duty for GMP regulated facilities, recovering more than 99 percent of the suspended biomass while minimizing product loss in the cake. The compact 355 mm bowl machine is sized perfectly for clinical scale and small production fermenters between 5 and 50 cubic meters, delivering consistent separation batch after batch with complete documentation for validation.

The fully enclosed design keeps the broth under inert gas blanketing when required and prevents aerosol release, protecting both the product and the operators. Wetted parts in SS316L with a mirror finish and crevice free welds satisfy clean in place requirements, while the scroll discharge conveys the mycelium cake continuously to a closed receiver. Applications

The LW355 recovers mycelium from antibiotic fermentation broth including penicillin, cephalosporin and tetracycline processes, as well as amino acid, enzyme, vitamin and organic acid fermentations. It also dewaters spent fermentation biomass from single cell protein and probiotic production. The clarified broth advances to solvent extraction, evaporation or chromatographic purification with lower solids loading, improving resin life and extractor throughput.
