The application of algae is widespread, and it is an essential raw material for food, medicine, cosmetics, and other industries. After the algae grow in a culture tank or a photobioreactor, they are separated and concentrated by a separator, and then processed into an algae concentrate.

Our algae harvest disc separator has two types: solid ejecting type for low concentration of algae liquid, and nozzle type for high concentration of algae liquid. Both types of separators can reach 10000rpm/min at the fastest, providing huge centrifugal force to ensure the separation effect. Special treatment on the bowl reduces the effect of the shear force on the algae cell wall, ensuring the activity of the algae.

Our disc separator is made of high-quality materials, including SS304, SS316L, SS2205, with HMI+PLC Siemens voltage, ABB or WANNAN motor, and ABB or CUMARK frequency converter. Our machine is suitable for various types of algae, including Chlorella, Spirulina, Schizochytrium, and more.

Our disc separator provides several advantages, including saving up to 30% in cost, high recovery rate of algae concentrate, low moisture content, and low drying cost. After the disc separator reaches its working speed, the algae liquid enters the bowl from the top of the centrifuge. Under the action of strong centrifugal force, the algae is dehydrated and discharged from the machine, effectively shortening the drying time.
